NL West Predictions

1.  Colorado Rockies
2.  San Francisco Giants
3.  Los Angeles Dodgers
4.  San Diego Padres
5.  Arizona Diamondbacks

Everyone's picking the World Series champs to repeat in the West, on the heels of their stellar pitching staff.  And while it will be a tight race for sure (probably come down to Colorado @ San Francisco the last days of September), I think a breakout season for Dexter Fowler along with the newly minted star power of Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki will be too much for a Giants team looking for full season contributions from a middle infield starring Miguel Tejada and Freddy Sanchez.  The Dodgers have the pitching, but if they don't contend early, there could be a firesale with the likes of Andre Ethier, Rafael Furcal and Jonathan Broxton.  San Diego is obviously going to miss Adrian Gonzalez a ton, and now have Orlando Hudson pegged in the 3 hole (emphasis on hole) of their lineup.  The Diamondbacks have the worst pitching staff in baseball, but at least Zach Duke is on the mend ... 'nuff said.
