NL East Predictions

1.  Atlanta Braves
2.  Philadelphia Phillies (wild card)
3.  Florida Marlins
4.  Washington Nationals
5.  New York Mets

Blasphemy!  How can anyone NOT pick the Phillies to win?  Haven't you heard, with the greatest rotation EVER, they simply can't lose!  Yeah, well ... when everyone is that confident, something will fall apart.  Sure, Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee will be unstoppable, but Roy Oswalt's getting longer in the tooth, and for some reason I could see the Yankees swooping in and trading for a guy like Cole Hamels (who will be a free agent at the end of the year).  The Braves are strong enough at the plate and on the mound to give the Phillies a run for their money.  It seems like the Marlins are always a .500 team, and have a good young core, again.  Broken record.  The Nationals are a mess right now, have a dismal rotation, but at least Nyjer Morgan's gone!  And the Mets, wow.  At least they finally unloaded Oliver Perez and Luis Castillo.  I don't think there's a player in baseball I feel worse for than Poor Jason Bay.
