Opening Day (for the Future)
The Indians get under way tonight. How more appropriate for this blog could this matchup be?
Indians, Bullington
vs
Paw Sox, Colon
I'd put money on Pearce taking Colon deep. Especially now that the X-Man is off to a wonderful 2 game start, and idiots like this .... http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08094/870190-63.stm ... think he's a part of the future. He is a trading chip, and the better start, the better bounty. In 2 months when Pearce is hitting .350 with a dozen homers let's see what Smizik says.

Is it true that Bartolo Colon went to Steak and Shake between every inning?
How big was he looking these days?
OK, so Colon and company completely dominated them in a 1-hit shutout. Oops, so much for predictions! But they did split the series with the pud sox.
