Day One

So Day One of my newfound Pirates fandom and they nearly give me a heart attack for giving up a 5 run lead in the bottom of the ninth to (what I consider) a pretty weak Braves team. As my computer is refreshing gamecast Monday night, I’m in total disbelief, and wondering why in the hell am I shelving my beloved World Champion Boston Red Sox this year for this torture. This is a last-place team for crying out loud that hasn’t had a .500 record in what 15 years?!?! I give up, and go to bed in the tenth inning after they fail to score in the top half, only to be rewarded the next morning with an extra innings win …. Great stuff! So the cap I grab to walk the dog the next morning? A yellow P for sure!
