I tried watching Sportscenter this morning to catch highlights of the near-perfect game last night ..... but all they wanted to talk about was Favre Favre Favre (I love football, but I could care less about this guy). Welcome Jeff Karstens! 15 scoreless innings and counting ..... I was hoping for a little Mink-cave-itch drama last night, though. But at least he got a couple hits against Mandy Johnson.
Now on to the Phillies .... round 2 (of only 2!) this year with the in-state rivals. I will be on the other side of Pennsylvania this weekend for a wedding, nowhere near Philadelphia. Hopefully I can listen to Sunday’s game on the radio on the drive home.
