Just as it was in 1960, its been 33 years since the last Bucs pennant ... BEAT 'EM, BUCS!

Why? (part two)
Well it was bound to happen. Confusion and disbelief. And all it has taken is 2 games by the biggest market teams out there. I think deep down one of the reasons I'm doing this is to remind myself what a typical baseball fan experiences, but more importantly, to become a fan again. For my whole life, baseball has brought joy and pain, ups and downs, and through it all, it's the ride that mattered. Now that the old regime is a powerhouse, allstar club they have lost some of what made them special. They are no different then their traditional nemesis. There's something increasingly dull about watching allstar teams battle it out 20 times a year. And truthfully, tonight when the mothership broadcasts a rubber match for all the country to see, it undoubtedly will be a riveting 4 hour marathon, and I probably won't be watching. I'll be basking or lamenting the Cueto v Gorzo matchup today (televised locally!). And while the old regime will still have a special place in my heart, the New Regime is what I'm excited about. It's taken all of a couple months, and suddenly there's only one box score I'm looking for.
This one. Go Buccos!
