Pirates pitcher Ian Snell touches the Roberto Clemente quote on his way to the field for the home opener at PNC Park yesterday. "When I put on my uniform, I feel I am the proudest man on Earth" is the quote from the great right-fielder. Yesterday I arrived home just in time for the 10th inning. Despite what is being termed "the play" .... who cares, they're coming back from 7 run leads and making games interesting. It's better than being blown out, right? Meek looked lost though. I expect to see him here in Indy soon. I won't get to see many games this year obviously in Indianapolis, and just can't devote enough time to warrant getting a cable baseball package. WGN is showing Morris' start Thursday night though .... my wife should be thrilled. I did buy the MLB audio thingy last night though. For $15, even if I only listen to 15 games, it seems like a good deal to me. Plus I get that crappy rag SI for a few months!
