Battle of PA (Round 1 of 2)

Phillies (12-11) @ Pirates (9-13) Friday: Eaton v Duke Saturday: Kendrick v Morris Sunday: Myers v Maholm It is absolutely ridiculous that these teams only place 6 games in 6 months. The other three aren't until the second weekend in August! MLB really needs to rethink these division heavy schedules (less Cubs the better) ... must post about that and realignment sometime. With the three games this weekend, and then a trip to Shea for 3 more, it sure is going to be tough (5-1) to get back to .500 by the end of the month. Honestly, going 3-3 in the next 6 would be fantastic. Friday and Sunday seems to be the most winnable games ... however, the image of a struggling Matt Morris throwing meatballs to Howard, Burrell and Utley? Yikes! Saturday should be pretty ugly. Hopefully Duke can go a strong 7 innings Friday, because the bullpen's gonna be up on Saturday for sure.
